My Story
Let me introduce myself, My name is Karen and I am a Realtor with RE/MAX Eastern Edge Realty. I am a figure skating coach and a dog mom to my little fur baby, Rosie. When I am not working, I love gardening/landscaping and I have a passion for travelling.
I grew up just across the bay in Dunville where I started figure skating at a very young age. It quickly became a passion for me, so much so that I made a career out of it for almost 30 years! Skating actually brought me here to Marystown back in 2007 where I became the head coach of the Ice Crystal SC and Cutting Edge SC in Fortune, where I still continue to coach part time. Skating has instilled in me a strong work ethic, the ability to set goals and go after what I want. I can relate many aspects of my real estate career to the skill set I have learned as an athlete and a coach.
I started my real estate career in May 2016 and could not be more grateful for the life I have built today because of it. I take great pride in knowing I help others make their real estate dreams come true, all while having some great laughs along the way 😉
For those of you that have worked with me in the past, you know I like to have fun! This industry has not only allowed me to meet so many amazing people, but to genuinely make a difference in their journey to find their dream home.
If you had told me 10 years ago that I would be a successful Realtor on the Burin Peninsula I would have never believed it. But I have quickly realized that I have found something that truly brings me so much joy (just like skating did all those years ago). Whether it is prepping clients for a new listing, helping “Come From Aways” move to the Island, helping folks come back to their roots or helping first time home buyers purchase their new home, I LOVE IT ALL!!!
I have earned many awards since starting my business including:

- Platinum Award in 2021.
